I’ll start this out by saying my husband is the sweetest thing ever! He always surprises me with things that I thought I could only dream of. I really lucked out with this stud!
We have always wanted to goto Paris together. There were late night talks where we would joke and say to each other, “lets just pack our bags, bring the kids and leave tomorrow” which needless to say would have been a disaster!
For my 25th birthday my husband gave me the biggest surprise of all! at 12am exactly (maybe a few mins before 😉 ) Brian walked in with a bottle of champagne and a printed booklet. I had no idea what was inside the book but reading the title I saw it said PARIS trip and I think I stopped breathing. This guy had been planning this trip for almost 5 months and kept it a secret. It was the best thing! Each day was planned out with exciting places to see and fun experiences we will never forget. We missed our kids but it was so worth and we were so lucky to have amazing family & friends to watch them.
So here are some photos from our amazing trip! These pictures don’t even really share a quarter of what we got to experience but it will give you a taste! And to answer everyone’s question.. NO, we did not have a photographer follow us around but yes, we did have a few professional photos taken in front of the Eiffel Tower. I have always dreamed of having a fancy photo in front of the Tower and Brian went along with it to make me happy!
First Night- Dinner at the Jules Verne atop the Eiffel Tower- SO AMAZING! I won’t lie, I am terrified of heights so half of the elevator trip up I think my eyes were shut 🙂
after dinner we decided to explore our streets and had one of the coolest experiences! We were walking and heard this crazy loud music coming from a small pub. We peeked in and saw a 16 man band crammed into this small pub and we decided to stay and listen! This was us with one of the band members. He was so full on life and really gave us some awesome words of wisdom.
it was an early morning but we made it to our “cooking with class”. We toured the local street markets and collected all the ingredients we needed and came back to cook a 4 course meal with a hilarious chef!
I think this was later that night after dinner. We couldn’t help but get our candy fix!
I am so happy we will have these photos as memories forever!
Dinner at Chantilly- This is the nicest restaurant I have ever been to!
jardin de villandry – impeccable
castle tours
the lock bridge
window view
brunch & crepes all day
we loved this photo below. Brian wanted it captioned.. “when your wife asks you to take a selfie” hehe
and of course macaroons
palace of versailles
jardin de villandry
we had such an awesome time. I hope you get to visit Paris someday and get to experience all that we did!
and a special thanks to my Hubs, I love you babe!

Hi Natalie! I tried searching my email for the name of the Photographers we used but I cannot find it for the life of me! I think it was Pictures with Paris… if you have a trip planner the best is to have them search for someone for you.. Be careful there are a lot of scammers online!
I hope you have as much fun as we did!! XO
